Violet has found an enormous, rubbery yellow hippity hop, and wants to see how big it can get, and whether it will expand beyond its nominal size. She sets up an apparatus that allows her to blow by mouth as well as by two high-volume bellows foot pumps. She begins filling it by lung power, and then to make things go faster, she blows and pumps at the same time. Before long, it is taut and huge.
