The Inflation Laboratory - Allegra Blows and Pumps a Medium-Sized Paddle Balloon (MP4)

When Allegra's 36" heart exploded before she managed to get through all the shoes she wanted to try, she looked around for something else to test. Our colleague Helio from the UK came to the rescue, having previously sent in a series of paddle balloons of various sizes for testing. She chose a red one that was about 8.5 inches in diameter uninflated. He later suggested that it may have been made by Everts. As you can see, it got to quite a decent size before scattering itself about the lab.
This experiment gave Allegra the chance to finish her shoe comparison. She starts out blowing and pumping in her high-heeled T-strap sandals, then tries a pair of leather-like flip-flops, which work surprisingly well, then goes barefoot for a time, and finally comes back to her low-heeled thong sandals.
